Who we are
Your personal data is processed by Joana Dias Borges Nunes Vaz de Sousa, trading as JJ Apartments, NIF 215 261 844, Rua N.º 2, n.º 252, Bairro do Alto da Ajuda, 1300-182 Lisboa, ("JJ Apartments"), the data controller under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Why we process your data
a) To meet legal obligations, in particular reporting foreign guests to the competent authorities and invoicing.
b) To perform the accommodation contract: payments, check-in and check-out, security deposit, additional services such as cleaning and transfers, and pre-contractual steps.
c) To protect the property and for statistical purposes.

Without the data needed for (a) and (b), we cannot comply with the law or provide the stay.

What data we collect
Identification, contact, and payment card data needed to provide the service.

Legal basis
Performance of the contract and legal obligations, including immigration and tax law (Article 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR); our legitimate interest for (c) (Article 6(1)(f)).

How long we keep it
Only for as long as necessary for these purposes, or as required by law.

Who we share it with
Public authorities we are legally required to inform, including the immigration authorities and the Tax Authority (AT); service providers acting on our behalf, such as the booking platform, website hosting, email services, cleaning, accounting, legal and insurance providers; and courts or authorities where required by law.

Transfers outside the EU
Your data is not transferred outside the European Union, except where needed for hosting, storage or technical services, and only to countries that ensure adequate protection under the GDPR.

Your rights
You may request access, rectification, deletion, restriction, objection and portability. Manifestly unfounded or excessive requests may be refused or subject to a reasonable fee. You may complain to the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD).

Security
We use appropriate security measures to protect your data, although no internet transmission is completely secure. We do not sell or share your data for commercial purposes.
